As this unprecedented situation continues, we are all facing new challenges and an ever evolving status quo. Stone Center of Dayton remains open for business as part of “Residential Construction” deemed essential as defined in the Stay-at-Home order in effect in Ohio. As we are all doing our part to reduce the spread of the virus by staying at home, all skilled trades involved in maintaining the functions of our homes are considered critical. Certainly, having a functional kitchen is critical in allowing our customers to do their part. With this considered, we view it as our utmost responsibility to assure we are keeping our clients and our employees as safe as possible during this time. To do so we have implemented a number of changes regarding our policies and procedures:
All employees receive a daily wellness check including checking their temperature. If they are exhibiting any of the symptoms or have come in contact with anyone that has exhibited any symptoms of COVID-19, they will be asked to return home immediately.
Any employee that will be entering a customer’s home is required to wear a mask and gloves. They will also sanitize their work areas before and after their tasks.
Our showroom is currently available by appointment only and we ask that these appointments be limited to 20 minutes. No children are permitted. Also, we will be completely closed on Saturdays until the order is rescinded. During these appointments, your sales person will maintain a safe distance and be wearing a mask and gloves. We ask that anyone entering the showroom wash their hands immediately. There is a sanitized hand washing station upon entry in the showroom. Also note that considerable effort is taken before and after all appointments to clean and sanitize the public areas.
To set up an appointment email email@example.com or call us at 937-298-9572.
We can also offer “Virtual Visits” where a designer can work with you over email, including quoting and sending images of slabs. If you would like to start this dialogue, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We highly encourage this as it reduces any potential exposure.
What You Can Do
For all of our current and future clients we ask you take similar precautions to those we have outlined above. If you are currently sick or have been directly exposed to anyone with the virus, please contact us to reschedule any appointments.
Any service call not deemed an emergency will be scheduled once the Stay-at-Home order has been rescinded.
We thank you for your understanding and patience while we all face these unprecedented times together. We know there will a day soon when we can return to a semblance of normalcy and we look forward to continuing our long relationship with this great city.
